Description
The issue concerns the
ib uverbs poll cq function in the Linux kernel, which fails to initialize a certain response buffer. This allows local users to obtain potentially sensitive information from kernel memory via vectors that cause this buffer to be only partially filled.Recommendations
For Linux kernel versions prior to 2.6.37, update to version 2.6.37 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
