Description The issue allows local users to gain privileges and write arbitrary configuration settings. This can lead to a violation of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information. The exploitation can be carried out locally.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.7.2, update to version 1.7.2 or later. For versions prior to 1.7.2.1, update to version 1.7.2.1 or later. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the SetWiredProperty function in the D-Bus interface until a patch is available.
