Description The issue is related to the MySQL Server component in Oracle MySQL, specifically the Optimizer subcomponent. It allows remote authenticated users to affect data availability via unknown vectors.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL versions 5.1.71 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.1.71 to resolve the issue. For Oracle MySQL versions 5.5.33 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.33 to resolve the issue. For Oracle MySQL versions 5.6.13 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.13 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Optimizer subcomponent until a patch is available.
