Description A directory traversal issue exists due to improper filtering of user input in the Command Line Interface (CLI) of the Cisco NX-OS Software. This allows an authenticated, local attacker to access arbitrary files on the device by leveraging the tar command. The attacker must have local access to the targeted device, which decreases the likelihood of a successful exploit.
