Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists in the Web Content Manager - Web Content Viewer Portlet when the IBM Portlet API is used. This allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted URL.

Recommendations For IBM WebSphere Portal versions 7.0.0.x through 7.0.0.2 CF22, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For IBM WebSphere Portal versions 8.0.0.x through 8.0.0.1 CF5, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
