Description The issue is related to a stack-based buffer overflow in the ERM convert to correct webpath function, located in the ermapper u.dll file. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted pathname in an ERS file.

Recommendations For versions prior to 13.00.0001, update to version 13.00.0001 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the ermapper u.dll file or avoiding the use of crafted pathnames in ERS files until the update is applied.
