For Windows XP SP2 and SP3, consider applying a patch or configuration change to properly handle objects in memory.
For Windows Server 2003 SP2, restrict access to the win32k.sys driver to minimize the risk of exploitation.
For Windows Vista SP2, Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, and Windows RT, update the kernel-mode driver to a version that properly handles objects in memory.
