Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in an infinite loop, by sending a crafted DNP3 TCP packet. This can be achieved by exploiting the vulnerability in the DNPDrv.exe, also known as the DNP master station server, which is used in GE Intelligent Platforms Proficy HMI/SCADA - CIMPLICITY and iFIX.

Recommendations For Catapult DNP3 I/O driver versions prior to 7.2.0.60, update to version 7.2.0.60 or later. For GE Intelligent Platforms Proficy DNP3 I/O driver versions prior to 7.20k, update to version 7.20k or later.
