Description The issue is related to the HTTPSTK service in the novell-nrm package, which does not properly close TCP connections due to missing SSL free and SSL shutdown calls. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service by establishing multiple TCP connections to port 8009, potentially leading to a service crash.
Recommendations For novell-nrm package versions prior to 2.0.2-297.305.302.3, update to version 2.0.2-297.305.302.3 or later to resolve the issue.
