Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML. This can be achieved via the flash uri, flash width, or flash height in the scald flash scald prerender function, or the caption in the scald image scald prerender function.
Recommendations For Scald module versions 7.x-1.x before 7.x-1.1, update to version 7.x-1.1 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the scald flash scald prerender and scald image scald prerender functions until a patch is applied. Avoid using the flash uri, flash width, flash height, and caption variables in the affected functions to minimize the risk of exploitation.
