Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a divide-by-zero error and daemon crash, via a crafted sequence of messages. This is due to a flaw in the Bloom Filter implementation.

Recommendations For Bitcoin-Qt versions 0.8.x before 0.8.4rc1, update to version 0.8.4rc1 or later to resolve the issue. For bitcoind versions 0.8.x before 0.8.4rc1, update to version 0.8.4rc1 or later to resolve the issue.
