Description The issue is related to the Winsock WSAIoctl API, which does not properly support the SIO GET INTERFACE LIST command for a specific netmask. This allows remote attackers to bypass intended IP address restrictions by misinterpreting the netmask 255.255.255.255 as 0.0.0.0.

For ISC BIND versions 9.6-ESV before 9.6-ESV-R10-P1, update to version 9.6-ESV-R10-P1 or later. For ISC BIND versions 9.8 before 9.8.6-P1, update to version 9.8.6-P1 or later.
