Description The issue concerns the get main source dir function in scripts/uscan.pl, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in a directory name when using USCAN EXCLUSION.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.13.8, update to version 2.13.8 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the USCAN EXCLUSION option until a patch is applied.
