Description A cross-site scripting (XSS) issue exists in the Portfolio publisher servlet within the demo web application. This allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the refresh parameter to the "demo/portfolioPublish" API endpoint.

Recommendations For Apache ActiveMQ versions prior to 5.9.0, update to version 5.9.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the demo web application or disabling the Portfolio publisher servlet until a patch is applied. Avoid using the refresh parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved.
