Description The issue allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the sort parameter to the "system/authors/" endpoint. This can be leveraged using CSRF to allow remote unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2.3.2, update to version 2.3.2 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the "system/authors/" endpoint and avoiding the use of the sort parameter until a patch is available.
