Description A directory traversal issue exists, allowing remote attackers to read arbitrary files. This is achieved by using a .. (dot dot) in the mapname parameter within a 'show config' action in the editor.php file.

Recommendations For Network Weathermap versions 0.97c and earlier, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the editor.php file until a patch is available. Avoid using the mapname parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
