Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in the (1) sector size or (2) skip count fields for the forensic imaging task.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2013Oct15a, update the firmware to version 2013Oct15a or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the forensic imaging task to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using shell metacharacters in the sector size or skip count fields until the issue is resolved.
