Description The issue is related to inconsistent memory-management approaches in the RLC dissector. This allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a use-after-free error and application crash, via a crafted UMTS Radio Link Control packet.
Recommendations For Wireshark versions 1.8.x through 1.8.12, update to version 1.8.13 or later. For Wireshark versions 1.10.x through 1.10.5, update to version 1.10.6 or later.
