Description The issue arises because the Web component in IBM Rational ClearQuest does not set the secure flag for the session cookie in an https session. This oversight makes it easier for remote attackers to capture the cookie by intercepting its transmission within an http session.

Recommendations For IBM Rational ClearQuest versions 7.1 through 7.1.2.14, update to version 7.1.2.15 or later. For IBM Rational ClearQuest versions 8.0.0 through 8.0.0.11, update to version 8.0.0.12 or later. For IBM Rational ClearQuest versions 8.0.1 through 8.0.1.4, update to version 8.0.1.5 or later.
