Description The issue allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service, resulting in a write access violation and application crash, via a malformed .3gp file. This is due to a problem in the GetGUID function in codecs/dmp4.dll.

Recommendations For versions 16.0.3.51 and earlier, consider avoiding the use of the GetGUID function in codecs/dmp4.dll until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the handling of .3gp files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
