Description The issue allows local users to gain privileges via a Trojan horse application with a name composed of an initial substring of a path that contains a space character. This is due to an unquoted Windows search path vulnerability.

Recommendations For EMC Replication Manager versions prior to 5.5.3, update to version 5.5.3 or later to resolve the issue. For AppSync versions prior to 2.1.0, update to version 2.1.0 or later to resolve the issue.
