Description The issue allows local users to affect confidentiality through vectors related to CLIENT:MYSQLADMIN. This means that the vulnerability is related to the mysqladmin client in Oracle MySQL Server, which could potentially allow unauthorized access or disclosure of sensitive information.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.5.38 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.38 to resolve the issue. For Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.6.19 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.19 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the mysqladmin client until a patch is available.
