Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, as demonstrated by the QUERY STRING to do/view/Main/TWikiPreferences, via the QUERYSTRING variable in lib/TWiki.pm or the QUERYPARAMSTRING variable in lib/TWiki/UI/View.pm.

Recommendations For TWiki version 6.0.1, consider restricting access to the QUERYSTRING variable in lib/TWiki.pm and the QUERYPARAMSTRING variable in lib/TWiki/UI/View.pm to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using these variables in sensitive operations until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
