Description The issue is related to the udf read inode function in the Linux kernel, which does not ensure certain data-structure size consistency. This allows local users to cause a denial of service, resulting in a system crash, by using a crafted UDF filesystem image.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to 3.18.2, update to version 3.18.2 or later to resolve the issue.
