Description The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability in the phar rename archive function. This vulnerability can be exploited by remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have other unspecified impacts. The exploitation vectors involve triggering an attempted renaming of a Phar archive to the name of an existing file.
Recommendations For PHP versions prior to 5.5.22, update to version 5.5.22 or later. For PHP versions 5.6.x prior to 5.6.6, update to version 5.6.6 or later.
