Description The issue is related to errors in the code of the Server: Optimizer component of the MySQL database management system. It allows a remote authenticated user to affect availability via unknown vectors. The exploitation of this issue can enable a remote attacker to disrupt the availability of protected information.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.5.42 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.5.42 to resolve the issue. For Oracle MySQL Server versions 5.6.23 and earlier, update to a version later than 5.6.23 to resolve the issue.
