Description The issue is related to the lack of protection for system data in iOS and Mac OS X. It can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted application to gain access to protected information. The kernel does not properly restrict the mach port space info interface, allowing attackers to obtain sensitive memory-layout information.

Recommendations For iOS versions prior to 8.4.1, update to version 8.4.1 or later to resolve the issue. For OS X versions prior to 10.10.5, update to version 10.10.5 or later to resolve the issue.
