CVE-2015-6102

CVSS v2.0

2.1

Baixa

VetorAV:L/AC:L/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Windows Vista SP2 Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1 Windows 7 SP1 Windows 8 Windows 8.1 Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2 Windows RT Gold and 8.1 Windows 10 Gold and 1511
Description The issue allows local users to bypass the KASLR protection mechanism and discover a driver base address via a crafted application. This is due to the kernel in Windows failing to properly initialize memory addresses, allowing an attacker to retrieve information. An attacker who successfully exploits this issue could retrieve the base address of the Kernel driver from a compromised process. To exploit the issue, an attacker would have to log on to an affected system and run a specially crafted application.
Recommendations For Windows Vista SP2, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk. For Windows Server 2008 SP2 and R2 SP1, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk. For Windows 7 SP1, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk. For Windows 8, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk. For Windows 8.1, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk. For Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk. For Windows RT Gold and 8.1, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk. For Windows 10 Gold and 1511, update to a newer version to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive system information until a patch is available.
