Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SQLite versions prior to 3.8.9
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the SQLite database management system. It can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted application to gain elevated privileges.
Recommendations For versions prior to 3.8.9, update to version 3.8.9 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive database operations until the update is applied.
