Description The issue allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in out-of-bounds memory access and application crash, via a crafted packet. This is due to the failure of the LPP dissector to validate a certain index value in the asn1/lpp/lpp.cnf file.

Recommendations For Wireshark versions 1.10.x through 1.10.11, update to version 1.10.12 or later. For Wireshark versions 1.12.x through 1.12.2, update to version 1.12.3 or later.
