Description The issue is related to a stack-based buffer overflow in the OpenForIPCamTest method of the RTSPVIDEO.rtspvideoCtrl.1 ActiveX control. This can be exploited by remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via the StrRtspPath parameter.

Recommendations For versions prior to 1.3, update to version 1.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the OpenForIPCamTest method in the SStreamVideo ActiveX control until a patch is applied. Avoid using the StrRtspPath parameter in the affected ActiveX control until the issue is resolved.
