Description
The issue concerns multiple cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities in the Report Viewer of Ericsson Drutt Mobile Service Delivery Platform (MSDP). These vulnerabilities allow remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via various parameters to different API endpoints, such as "top-links.jsp", "page-summary.jsp", "service-summary.jsp", and others. The vulnerable parameters include
portal, fromDate, toDate, fromTime, toTime, kword, uname, pname, sname, atype, atitle, uid, uid2, orderBy, and sortDirection.Recommendations
For Ericsson Drutt Mobile Service Delivery Platform (MSDP) versions 4.x through 6.x, consider disabling the vulnerable Report Viewer component until a patch is available. Restrict access to the affected API endpoints, such as "top-links.jsp", "page-summary.jsp", and others, to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable parameters, such as
portal, fromDate, toDate, fromTime, toTime, kword, uname, pname, sname, atype, atitle, uid, uid2, orderBy, and sortDirection, in the affected API endpoints until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
