CVE-2015-8575

CVSS v3.1

4.0

Média

VetorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel versions prior to 4.3.4
Description The issue allows local users to obtain sensitive information from kernel memory and bypass the KASLR protection mechanism. This is due to the sco sock bind function in net/bluetooth/sco.c not verifying an address length, which can be exploited via a crafted application.
Recommendations For Linux kernel versions prior to 4.3.4, update to version 4.3.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the sco sock bind function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
