Description The issue is related to errors in the code of the MySQL Server component, specifically the DML subcomponent. It can be exploited by a remote attacker to cause the system to hang or crash, resulting in a denial of service. The vulnerability can be exploited via network packets and is considered easily exploitable, allowing a high-privileged attacker with network access to compromise the MySQL Server.
Recommendations For Oracle MySQL versions 5.6.21 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
