Description The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in the IOKit component of Mac OS X and iOS operating systems. Exploitation of this issue may allow a local attacker to elevate privileges or cause a denial of service, resulting in memory corruption.
Recommendations For iOS versions prior to 9.2.1, update to version 9.2.1 or later to resolve the issue. For OS X versions prior to 10.11.3, update to version 10.11.3 or later to resolve the issue. For tvOS versions prior to 9.1.1, update to version 9.1.1 or later to resolve the issue.
