Description The issue is related to the nsScannerString::AppendUnicodeTo function, which does not verify that memory allocation succeeds. This allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (out-of-bounds read) via crafted Unicode data in an HTML, XML, or SVG document.
Recommendations For Mozilla Firefox versions prior to 45.0, update to version 45.0 or later. For Firefox ESR versions prior to 38.7, update to version 38.7 or later.
