Description
The issue is caused by a memory corruption problem, allowing remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service via a crafted web site. This can be achieved by exploiting a buffer overflow in memory, enabling an attacker to bypass existing access restriction policies. The vulnerabilities exist in the way Microsoft browsers access objects in memory, potentially corrupting memory and allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user.
Recommendations
For Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 9 through 11, update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
