Description The issue is related to a crash that could occur while reading Interrupt Mask Registers (IMR) in QEMU when built with VMWARE VMXNET3 paravirtual NIC emulator support. A privileged guest user with CAP SYS RAWIO capability could exploit this to crash the QEMU process instance, resulting in a denial of service.
