Description The issue affects confidentiality and is related to the Test Manager for Web Apps in the Oracle Application Testing Suite component. It is claimed by third parties to be a directory traversal vulnerability in the DownloadServlet servlet, allowing remote attackers to read arbitrary files via directory traversal sequences in the scriptPath parameter.

Recommendations For versions 12.4.0.2 and 12.5.0.2, consider restricting access to the DownloadServlet servlet as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Avoid using the scriptPath parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
