Description The issue allows local users to affect availability via vectors related to Locking. It is an easily exploitable vulnerability that can be compromised by a high privileged attacker with network access via multiple protocols, resulting in the unauthorized ability to cause a hang or frequently repeatable crash of MySQL Server.

Recommendations For Oracle MySQL versions 5.7.11 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
