Description A vulnerability in the interdevice communications interface of the Cisco IPICS Universal Media Services (UMS) could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to modify configuration parameters of the UMS and cause the system to become unavailable.

Recommendations For versions 4.8(1) through 4.10(1), update to a fixed version to resolve the issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
