Description The issue allows remote attackers to conduct timing side-channel attacks. This is possible due to the use of the standard comparison operator to compare secret material against user input in the Htpasswd authentication source and the SimpleSAML Session class.

Recommendations For SimpleSAMLphp versions 1.14.11 and earlier, consider updating to a version that addresses this issue, as the current version allows for timing side-channel attacks. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
