Description
The issue is related to a memory leak in the
megasas handle dcmd function, which can be exploited by local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service through host memory consumption. This can be achieved by sending specially crafted MegaRAID Firmware Interface (MFI) commands with the sglist size set to a value over 2 Gb.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
