Description The issue involves the Audio component and allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption and application crash) via a crafted audio file. This is due to a heap-based buffer overflow in the Audio component, which can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted audio file.

Recommendations For iOS versions prior to 10.3, update to version 10.3 or later. For macOS versions prior to 10.12.4, update to version 10.12.4 or later.
