Description The NetScaler file parser in Wireshark could enter an infinite loop when processing a malformed capture file. This issue was resolved by ensuring a nonzero record size in the wiretap/netscaler.c file.
Recommendations For Wireshark versions 2.0.0 through 2.0.11, update to a version that includes the fix in wiretap/netscaler.c to prevent the infinite loop issue. For Wireshark versions 2.2.0 through 2.2.5, update to a version that includes the fix in wiretap/netscaler.c to prevent the infinite loop issue.
