Description An integer underflow issue exists in the x86 assembly code for planeClipAndMax() in x265. This can be triggered by a small picture, leading to an integer underflow and resulting in a Denial of Service during the encoding process.

Recommendations For x265 versions prior to 2.4, update to version 2.4 or later to resolve the issue. For libbpg, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
