VetorAV:N/AC:H/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Microsoft Edge versions in Windows 10 1607 and Windows Server 2016
Description The issue is related to Microsoft Edge improperly accessing objects in memory, which could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. If the current user has administrative user rights, a successful exploitation could grant the attacker control over the affected system, enabling them to install programs, view, change, or delete data, or create new accounts with full user rights.
Recommendations For Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 1607 and Windows Server 2016, update to a version that properly handles memory access to prevent arbitrary code execution. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
