Description
A double free issue in the
jasper image stop load function allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, resulting in a crash, by providing a crafted JPEG 2000 image file.Recommendations
For JasPer version 1.900.17, consider avoiding the use of the
jasper image stop load function until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, restrict the processing of JPEG 2000 image files to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
