Description The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML, leveraging the use of the COM getCurrentURL function in various template files, including (1) public html/layout/default/header.thtml, (2) public html/layout/bento/header.thtml, (3) public html/layout/fotos/header.thtml, or (4) public html/layout/default/article/article.thtml.

Recommendations For Geeklog IVYWE edition version 2.1.1, consider disabling the COM getCurrentURL function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the affected template files to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the vulnerable function in the affected files until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
