Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read in the PixarLogCleanup function in tif pixarlog.c. This allows remote attackers to crash the application by sending a crafted TIFF image to the rgb2ycbcr tool.
Recommendations For libtiff versions 4.0.6 and earlier, consider updating to a newer version that contains a fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
